What this project is

« Reach out (to the Lord) » is our second project. It has been recorded live on the 6th of august 2023 and the first video was released on june 2024. It may stand as a response to the call of the Lord as displayed in the first project, but it’s not the real sequel. It shall be considered as a side story that will add to the main one. For this project, God asked us to make songs that will help lead people’s hearts to Him in worship and praise. It’s thus an album full of praise and worship songs, a declaration of surrender into His hands, a declaration of dependance, under his eternal dominion and reign. It starts with the aknowledgement of his goodness, lifting his name and declaring blessing and honour to Him, and closes with two dynamic and deeply powerful songs : « Je suis l’étoile de mon Dieu » that has become iconic and « Jésus règne éternellement » an undeniable truth.

The whole music team of the movement was there, as our brothers Joël YIM and Jonathan AKAME could make it, as we teamed up with some friends to lift our voices together for this project that aims to bring people together in worship and praise. It was the opportunity to welcome Honorine MAÏNUYANG, a new vocalist with a deep sense of service, humilty and love of God. « Reach out (to the Lord) » is quite an ambitious project at this time, as we litteraly jump from recording 9 songs live in one evening to recording 22 songs live in one evening, in less than 9 months.

the team

We reached out to some friends and recorded this project as « Simple Worship Together & Friends ». We were 5 vocalists and 6 musicians appearing on set, supported by around 10 people for the sound, the pictures and video, and catering as well. We had some friends in the hall to support us during the recording too ^_^
